COMMERCIAL PILOTS LICENCE
The Commercial Pilots Licence is the final step in becoming a professional pilot. This licence will open a whole new world of flying opportunities as a professional aviator.
Your Commercial Pilots Licence can be achieved in two ways:
by completing a PPL, gaining command flight experience in your own time and then undertaking additional training to reach the required standard (minimum total 200 hours); or,
by way of our Integrated Commercial Pilots' Licence (ICPL) course (minimum total 150 hours). The ICPL course is designed around both full and part-time students wishing to start their career in aviation. The course consists of several stages each to be completed prior to advancing to the next. The course will cover the Private Pilots' Licence syllabus, Night VFR syllabus and the Commercial Pilots' Licence syllabus. The details below are for the ICPL.
Throughout your training you will be taught not only advanced flight techniques but also the considerations, parameters and requirements placed on the professional. Now you are not just flying an aeroplane but you are probably flying an aeroplane as a business tool to a schedule, possibly under arduous conditions.
While this path will test your application to the task, the rewards of a career in professional aviation will far outweigh the challenges.
