Program Description
 This full time course meets the requirements of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Authority for the issue of a Category B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence under the HKAR-66 regulation.

The course consists of 2890 hours of structured study and practical work and is delivered over approximately twenty-four calendar months.

 
Prerequisites
 To be eligible to study this course at Aviation Australia you need to meet both academic entry requirements and English language entry requirements.

Full documentary evidence in support of academic and English language proficiency must be submitted with all applications for enrolment.

All Aviation Australia International courses require applicants to demonstrate English language proficiency.

Australian visa requirements specify that the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) proficiency test is the only accepted means of demonstrating English language proficiency.

The minimum standard required by Aviation Australia is the IELTS - Academic, with an overall band score of 5.5, with no sub-band below 5.0.

In addition, you must also satisfy student visa requirements set by the Australian Government.

International applicants must have attained the age of 18 years on commencement of a course of training.

Applications can only be accepted for this course from current employees of an airline or Approved Maintenance Organisation not physically located in Australia. The applicant must be financially sponsored by their employer for the duration of the training program.

Papua New Guinea Year 12 HSC very good grades.
Philippines Certificate of Graduation (High School) very good grades.
Sri Lanka GCE A-level pass grades in 3 major subjects.
Vietnam Year 12 very good grades in major subjects.
Malaysia STPM credit grades in 2 major subjects, or MICSS UEC very good grades in 4 major subjects or SACE, or OSSD (OAC subjects).
