| | This degree is designed to provide flexible science and technology based studies in a wide range of areas. Students are able to select a focus of eight or more units from a specific discipline and combine these with a range of other units relevant to their career aspirations and interests, thereby enhancing their employment prospects. The degree also enables students to build a science degree around those disciplines that do not offer a specialised degree. These include applied chemistry, aviation, biological sciences, conservation biology, environmental management, human biology, land management, management of aquatic systems, mathematics, nutrition, physics, sports science and technology sustainable environments. The unit selection can be made from any area of science offered by the faculty, thus providing many options for students who do not want a highly specialised focus. |
