Aviation Medical

Before being issued with a Student Pilot Licence, and before you can exercise the privileges of your licence, you must hold an aviation medical certificate. To obtain the relative medical certificate you must undergo an aviation medical examination. This can be done after arrival in Australia, however it is more practical to undertake this before you depart.

There are a number of doctors overseas who are approved by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) to conduct these examinations.
